Mayra has presented the concert “reEncanto” a little around the world, it adds already more than 40 concerts, an intimate and beautiful show that fills the hearts of all who listen to it.
reEncanto is also the name of the album recorded live at Union Chapel in London in 2023 and revisits the repertoire composed by Mayra Andrade more intimately, accompanied only by the guitar of the talented Djodje Almeida.
An album that simultaneously marks the beginning and the end of a cycle in the life of the artist who, after being a mother, felt the need to rediscover her own voice within her songs: “The project ‘reEncanto’ allowed me to rediscover my repertoire and share the stories that inspired these songs.” marks Mayra.
Accompanied on stage by the guitar of Djodje Almeida, Mayra revisits themes from her first album, Navega from 2006, from Stória, Stória… from 2009, as well as from Lovely Difficult from 2013 and Manga released in 2019 in celebration of her music and her origins.
The concert also featured the participation of Ive Greice and Dino d’Santiago.
