McLaren 600LT Spider is a tribute to spiders
McLaren Special Operations announced this week that it will launch 12 units of the McLaren 600LT Spider Segestria Borealis on the North American market, an edition that, as its name implies, has as its main inspiration a spider.
More specifically, the Florentine Segestry, a poisonous species, which serves as a central theme for the final units that the British brand will send this model to the United States.
At first glance, the traces in green, violet and burgundy are evident under a completely black base, as if to make it very clear that this, too, is a dangerous ‘species’.
Under the hood, the eight-cylinder block remains, capable of delivering 600 horsepower, which allows this ‘monster’ to go from zero to 100 km/h in less than three seconds and reach a top speed of 315 km/h.
Finally, as far as the price is concerned, it will be fixed at 275 thousand dollars, which, at today’s exchange rate, corresponds to approximately 250 thousand euros.
