Meduza confirmed at MEO Sudoeste
Going through the winter is also synonymous with counting the days for another MEO Sudoeste. In August, the best dance music in the world continues to have a strong presence in Zambujeira do Mar. And it is already known that dancing in 2020 is dancing to the sound of Meduza and hits like “Piece Of Your Heart” or “Lose Control”. At MEO Sudoeste, this unforgettable experience is already scheduled, on August 6, on the MEO Stage.

It is impossible to make a retrospective of the best electronic music made in 2019 without mentioning Meduza. It all started with the meeting between three Italian producers. Luke Degree, Matt Madwill and Simon de Jano started working together in 2014 with the goal of creating instrumentals for rap. After a few years of occasional collaborations, the three friends decided to make things a little more serious and created a sound strongly influenced by house music, which they named Meduza in 2018. “Piece Of Your Heart” was the first sound to conquer the tracks of dance from around the world. With the collaboration of British producers Goodboys, the hypnotic tone of this track left no one indifferent. The numbers are not deceiving: they exceeded the billion streams, reached the double platinum in the United Kingdom, were nominated for a Grammy and put this house music on the radio insistently all over the world. After a series of successful remixes, for artists like Dido and Emily Warren, Meduza did not rest in the shadow of the success achieved by the first single and wanted more. The second successful single, “Lose Control”, released in October 2019 and in collaboration with Goodboys and Becky Hill, hit yet another series of impressive numbers, made by millions of listeners worldwide, consolidating this Italian trio as one major popularity phenomena in recent years. Its live energy is contagious and will be felt on the 6th of August at the MEO Stage of another MEO Sudoeste.
