Young people from all over the world united in the common language of joy, singing, and dancing, will now be able to attend the final concert of the JMJ Cascais Festival with one of the most famous pop bands in the country, whose name D.A.M.A. mean “Let Me Clear Your Mind, Friend”.
Officially formed in 2008, the pop band is made up of three friends: Francisco Maria Pereira (better known as Kasha), Miguel Coimbra, and Miguel Cristovinho. Songs such as “Não Dá”, “Luísa” or “Oquelávai” will be heard in the gardens of Casino Estoril.
But, the closing party starts at 8 pm, with a performance by Orquestra Maré do Amanhã. Created in August 2010, the Orquestra Maré do Amanhã Project teaches classical music to children and teenagers from one of the most violent favelas in Rio de Janeiro, transforming lives through music. Around 3,500 children, teenagers, and young people have already been helped and inspired by the Orquestra Maré do Amanhã project. It is with dedication and willingness to make a difference internally and externally that OMA treads a path of success.
