The Sal na Adega restaurant, the best wine tourism restaurant in Portugal (according to the APENO – Portuguese Wine Tourism Association) awards, will prepare a special Tasting Menu to celebrate Valentine’s Day.
On Friday, February 14th, the AdegaMãe restaurant offers a gastronomic experience by Chef Tiago Fitas, in which flavours and wines come together in a perfect passion. All in the exquisite space that appears on the rooftop of the winery, in Torres Vedras, from where you can enjoy a unique view of the vineyards. AdegaMãe was born from the Riberalves Group’s investment in a new business area and emerged as a tribute from the Alves family to its matriarch, Manuela Alves. The concept of “Mother” is also the inspiration for a space of birth, of creation, in which the aim is to enhance the best grapes and create the best wines. As AdegaMãe is a company of the Riberalves Group, the Dory brand (inspired by the Dories, vessels formerly used by the Portuguese for cod fishing) represents the main range of wines sold. After the first harvest, held in 2010, AdegaMãe has been gaining recognition in the national and international markets, where it channels 70% of its production. Named Company of the Year in the wine sector in 2015, AdegaMãe produces around 4 million bottles per year. The house’s winemaker, Diogo Lopes, is the Winemaker of the Year 2022 in Portugal, a distinction awarded by the magazine Vinho Grandes Escolhas.
