On weekends, the Meliá Braga Hotel & Spa promotes a new gastronomic service “Sabores e Saberes”, available in take-away and delivery.
Every Saturday and Sunday, Chef Elísio Bernardes of Restaurante El Olivo invites a local supplier to together propose unique dishes of regional cuisine, to be tasted in the comfort of home.
This weekend, the special guest was Teresinha, a specialist in seafood products. Available for lunch and dinner, from 12 pm to 4 pm and from 6 pm to 10 pm, the menu includes Açorda de robalo with roe; Rojões in the style of Minho; Veal tongue with peas and Teresinha cream milk with cracker and Beirão. Take-away orders can be made at 253 144 000. Home delivery service is provided by Uber Eats and Glovo.
Chef Elísio Bernardes prepared a four-handed dinner with Chef Sara Verde, from the EMOTIVO restaurant, which recently opened doors in the city Invicta, and which highlights the gastronomic recipe of the various Portuguese regions.
The dinner menu includes creative signature dishes such as Canja de bacalhau; Emotive sea bass; Veal, hand grain of Vaca, ending with the dessert Coco, vanilla and mint.
