Melim are back with their third studio album, “Quintal”
Melim, one of the most-heard bands in Brazil, releases their third studio album, now available on digital platforms.
With 17 songs, the album represents a new moment in the meteoric career of Gabriela, Diogo and Rodrigo Melim, brothers native to Niterói, authors of hits such as “Meu Abrigo” and “Ouvi Dizer”.
The “Quintal” project has partnerships with Vitor Kley, Natiruts, Duda Beat, Vitão and Emicida, and was created from the idea of a journey into oneself, with more introspective and personal songs. When listening to this album, the public will also go on a journey: to other realities and dimensions of themselves, with magical passages and entrances.
This record gives us the opportunity to get to know even more each of the brothers that make up Melim. “Our intention is to take the listener to several universes, some more real like a simple live performance in an abandoned shed, others more playful like a bed in the middle of paradise or a backyard with a big tree of life symbolizing our family, showing moments of our career, personal things”, says the trio.
“The songs talk about positivity, self-reflection, love, anxiety, empowerment and togetherness. We created the concept of doors in all the clips to represent and exalt the difference in each song and environment”, say Melim.
