Mercadona announced this Tuesday that between January and April 2020 the company donated more than 200 tons of basic products to institutions and hospitals.
Among the beneficiary entities were, for example, Food Banks in Aveiro, Braga and Porto, Portuguese Red Cross, Portuguese Caritas, Hospital São João and Hospital das Forças Armadas in Porto.
In addition to donations, the company adds that it collaborates directly from its 10 stores with 10 social canteens.
