Metro Boomin releases “Villains Version” from “Heroes & Villains” album

Metro Boomin now releases the “Villains Version” of their latest album, “HEROES & VILLAINS”, available now.

This new edition includes “ChoppedNotSlopped” mixes of the album’s 15 songs, as well as the original versions, for a total of 30 tracks and nearly two hours of music.

Last year, Metro Boomin revealed the video for the single “Superhero (Heroes & Villains)” feat. Future & Chris Brown. The single continues what has become one of hip-hop’s most celebrated collaborations between these two titans. In the song, a horn loop bleats over an ominous beat while Future’s instantly recognizable flow sends shockwaves through the production. The single’s accompanying video embodies this trippy trap energy. After a diamond theft, the video turns into a series of supernatural vignettes, ranging from surfing through the sky to breaking through dimensional walls.

This is quite possibly the craziest Metro Boomin video to date!

Having assembled an “Avengers”-level guest list, the album features collaborations from John Legend, Future, Chris Brown, Don Toliver, Travis Scott, 21 Savage, Young Nudy, Young Thug, Mustafa, A$sap Rocky, Gunna, and the late Takeoff. See the full lineup below.

This is Metro Boomin’s first solo album in four years and follows his debut album, 2018’s “Not All Heroes Wear Capes”. the platinum award and produced the singles “Space Cadet” feat Gunna (Triple Platinum), “No Complaints” feat. Drake & Offset (Platinum), “Don’t Come Out of the House” feat. 21 Savage (Platinum), “10 Freaky Girls” (Triple Platinum), “Overdue” feat. Travis Scott (Platinum), among others.

The excitement surrounding the new album began with the release of a short film, created by Gibson Hazard, which includes an all-star cast including Academy Award-winning actor Morgan Freeman, Oscar-nominated LaKeith Stanfield, Young Thug, and Gunna.
