Mexico beats USA and adds eighth CONCACAF Gold Cup

Mexico won gold for the eighth time in the Gold Cup of the Central American and Caribbean Football Confederation by beating the United States 1-0 at Soldier Field in Chicago.

A goal by Jonathan dos Santos in the 73rd minute, left foot, after a heel pass by former Benfica Raul Jiménez, sealed the triumph of the ‘Aztecs’, which succeeded in the ‘ranking’ of the winners to his opponent of the final of 2019.
