Michael Marcagi returns to Portugal under his name on January 20th 2026, for a concert at LAV-Lisboa Ao Vivo. The show in Lisbon is the first of the winter tour that the musician will perform in Europe and the United Kingdom at the beginning of next year, and consists of more than 20 dates.
On April 18, Cincinnati-based singer, songwriter and composer Michael Marcagi released his new EP, Midwest Kid, featuring singles such as “Flyover State,” among other tracks he recently performed during his visit to Portugal to open a concert with The Lumineers, winning over the audience by playing songs such as the hit “Scared To Start,” among other great songs.
Cincinnati-based singer-songwriter Michael Marcagi’s rise is a local success story. With a career built largely on his social media fan base, the folk-rock musician has demonstrated that listeners are hungry for real stories rooted in ancient American musical traditions. His debut EP, American Romance and the new Midwest Kid, both released by Warner Records, bring those stories to life, highlighting the timeless sound and the compelling sense of emotional truth that made Marcagi’s music so instantly appealing.

I don’t want to hide.”
