Microsoft confirmed Xbox Series X first-party games showcase to July 23
Microsoft will hold its Xbox first-party games showcase on July 23 at 9 AM PT, the company revealed today, confirming a previous rumor.
This presentation will focus primarily on Xbox Series X games, including launch title Halo Infinite. However, it’s unclear if the stream will focus exclusively on games from its first-party studios, or if it will also include third-party titles.
The July Xbox Games Showcase will come just over two months after a third-party game’s presentation in May that was presented as part of the Xbox 20/20 programming series.
It featured in-engine gameplay from several different titles including The Ascent, Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, and Scarlet Nexus, but it didn’t include extended demonstrations.
Xbox Series X will launch this holiday season and features Halo Infinite as a launch game. The game will also release on Xbox One and PC, with all three versions supporting cross-platform play. It will be the first time a core Halo game has ever released on more than one platform at the same time.
