The Microsons Festival returned to the Cine-Teatro S. João with a quality musical selection, Friday the public had the presence on stage of JP Simões, Vicente Palma and the fantastic Ana Lua Caiano, on Saturday it was Virgem’s turn Suta, Hadessa and André Gago who dazzled the audience who watched.
The first to step up to the plate at the Cine-Teatro was André Gago and his band, a spectacle where the words are king, with André reciting poems and singing poems that awaken the mind and open the heart.
André Gago Portuguese actor, director, writer and dubbing artist, born in Lisbon in 1964, with extensive experience in theater, cinema and television, participated in works such as “Non ou a Vã Glória de Mandar” by Manoel de Oliveira, “A Comédia de Deus” by João César Monteiro, “Valor da Vida” and “A Herdeira” by TVI, among others. Founder and director of the Companhia de Teatro Insável, where he staged and performed in shows based on Shakespeare, Jorge de Sena, Aquilino Ribeiro and other authors. This was followed by a coffee concert by Hadessa, who presented her album Fortuna, which she released in 2023, now available on digital platforms. It is an album full of contradictions, where we talk about fortune, bad luck, joy, sadness, and even financial stability and gender equality. She draws inspiration from the biblical figure of Hadassa, also known as Esther, to create music of intervention and emancipation.
The night continued with Virgem Suta a pop/rock band from Beja, Portugal. The band members are Nuno Figueiredo and Jorge Benvinda. They released their first album in 2009, which was produced by Hélder Gonçalves. His song “Linhas Cruzadas” was part of the soundtrack for the soap opera Olhos nos Olhos.
It was with Virgem Suta that this Microsons ended, his contagious music, energy and excellent music did not leave anyone indifferent, the festival continues to bring excellent authors, musicians and singers to Palmela, outside the most common trends, which makes quality your strong point.
