Miguel Azevedo and Toy open Elvas Youth and Academic Festival

Wet Bed Gang, Toy, Miguel Azevedo, Karetus, David Carreira and Kura, are the “heads-of-poster” of the Festival of Youth and Academician of Elvas, which starts Thursday in that city of Alto Alentejo.

Promoted by the municipality of Elvas, in the district of Portalegre, the festival will run until Saturday at the Coliseum Comendador José Rondão de Almeida.

“We tried to listen to the schools, the youth, to prepare the festival and we tried to put other artists on the poster to reach other audiences”, explained the councilor with the role of Sociocultural Animation in the municipality of Elvas, Tiago Afonso.

The doors of the Comendador José Rondão Almeida Coliseum will open daily at 9:00 p.m., the first day being reserved for concerts with Tuna ES, Made In, Double Mars, Toy, and Miguel Azevedo.

On Friday it is the turn to take to the stage Origins, Soversion, Night Scraps, Karetus, and Wet Bed Gang.

Dylow, Budapest, XPcovers, Vila Funk, Kura, and David Carreira are the names that mark the last day of the Elvas Youth and Academic Festival.

“In the margins of the concerts, we will also develop various activities with local associations. During these days sports activities will be developed, singing lessons, drums, viola, and guitar, as well as a workshop”, he added.

The festival will also count daily on the performance of Dj’s, as well as moments of animation in the transition of the concerts.

Tickets on the first day of the festival are free, while on Friday and Saturday tickets cost 10 euros per day.

“If you want to buy a bracelet, it costs 15 euros. In addition, we will also apply discounts to holders of the ‘smart young’ card, which is a card that we have here in Elvas and gives discounts to young people in stores, businesses, and activities, such as trips to swimming pools and museums”, he explained.
