that brings together young people, entrepreneurs, and entrepreneurs

Tomorrow, March 15th, Wednesday, at 10:00 am, the Youth Foundation will promote a session on the importance of entrepreneurship for young people.

The initiative – Multiplier Event – is part of the international project YoPeVa Entrepreneur, which has the Youth Foundation as a representative. Young people, businessmen, entrepreneurs, and representatives of youth-related institutions come together to discuss how entrepreneurship can support integration into the labor market. Miguel Fontes, Secretary of State for Labour, also participates in the session.

Is entrepreneurship a form of employment for young people? This and other questions are the starting point for the session, which includes the participation of Francisco Loras, from the ESPLAI Foundation and Pedro Gallo De Puelles, from the University of Barcelona, to explain and present the model of the entrepreneurship course that will emerge at the end of the international project YoPeVa Entrepreneur. This innovative methodology is expected to have a significant impact on the creation of self-employment by young NEETs, who are not studying, working, or undergoing training.

The event also features a session on “Entrepreneurship as a promoter of skills and employment”. The complete program is available here.

The YoPeVa Entrepreneur project results from an initiative of the European Commission and has international partners: Youth Foundation, Fundesplai, University of Barcelona, Borås Stad, ACDC Romania, CESIE, and Business Development Friesland. The event takes place at the Lisbon Youth Foundation (Rua Conde de Redondo, 46, 1st and 2nd floors, next to Marquês de Pombal).
