Miguel Oliveira in second place in the MotoGP of Italy
Miguel Oliveira was runner-up in the MotoGP Italian Grand Prix.
The Portuguese KTM rider, who had started from seventh place on the grid at Mugello, was the second to cut the finish, behind Fabio Quartararo (Yamaha), but would end up being penalized for exceeding the limits of the track on the last lap, thus lowering the third place.
However, world champion Joan Mir (Suzuki) also exceeded the limits of the track, so the organization once again assigned second place on the podium to the Almada driver.
