Portuguese driver finished the Grand Prix of Spain in 18th place.
After two consecutive races to score in Argentina and the United States, Miguel Oliveira failed to reach the points.
The Portuguese rider, remember, took off from the last row of the starting grid, having stayed for a 22nd place during the qualifying.
However, he benefited from the forced withdrawals of Jack Miller, Joan Mir, Fabio Quartararo and Francesco Bagnaia to ‘climb’ some places on the table.
The Red Bull KTM Tech3 man was thus 41.570 seconds behind Marc Márquez, who won his second Grand Prix of the season.
The title-holder re-assumes the lead of the MotoGP World Championship with 70 points, one more than Álex Rins (who was second to Spain) and three more than Andrea Dovizioso (who was not beyond fourth place.
As for Miguel Oliveira, who remains with seven points, he loses a position in the table. Now, it is 17th, being overtaken by Jorge Lorenzo, who finished the circuit of Jerez in the 12th place.
