Miguel Oliveira wins second best result in MotoGP
This Sunday, Portuguese rider Miguel Oliveira won what was his second best result ever in MotoGP, when he finished Emilia Romagna’s Grand Prix in fifth place.
The KTM Tech3 man did not have a happy qualification at all, which forced him from the 15th position on the starting grid. However, it made a major recovery, which was reflected in the final result.
A race that, moreover, was truly dominated by Spanish drivers, since Maverick Viñales was first, followed by compatriots Joan Mir and Pol Espargaró, who sealed the ‘nuestros hermanos’ triplet.
After the World Cup, Miguel Oliveira is eighth, with 59 points. The leadership, on the other hand, remains with Andrea Dovizioso (84 points), now only one point ahead of Fabio Quartararo and Maverick Viñales.
