Milhanas took Casa da Música on a journey from Shadow to Light
Milhanas performed on Wednesday night at Casa da Música for an unforgettable show.
In front of a packed audience, he appeared on a softly lit stage, where the musicians waited in silence, until Faust’s voice echoed in the room, setting the tone for the show.
With a striking voice and unique interpretive skills, in this show Milhanas reinterpreted themes from his debut album De Sombra a Sombra, having also presented new songs such as “Algo Mais“. It was when the audience choir sang the song “Mundo” uninterruptedly at the top of their lungs that the artist, visibly moved, confessed: “Only now have I accepted that you all came and that I deserve this.”
The artist, just 23 years old, has shown herself to be one of the most promising voices in Portuguese music. In addition to the critical acclaim and nominations for several awards such as the Golden Globe and the Prêmio Play da Música Portuguesa, Milhanas also sold out the show to present his debut album at the Teatro Maria Matos in just three months.
The young singer and composer is now preparing to take to the stage at the Belém Cultural Center next Thursday, February 13, at 8 pm, to “mark the end of a cycle”. The future will bring new projects that aim to explore the magnitude of Milhanas as an Artist. Tickets are now available at the usual locations.
