The song “Ai Coração” written by MIMICAT, and produced by Twins, leads the public’s preferences on the Eurovision website.

“Representing my country by singing at Eurovision would be wonderful. It is the biggest music event in Europe. It unites all kinds of people, all genres of music”, says MIMICAT, who sent the song to RTP right on deadline. “I was finishing recording the new album and I received an email informing me that the deadline was ending. I must have sent it on the last day. But I had no expectations of being chosen. It is a theme with a very large comic-dramatic load, it has a frenetic pace and ends up infecting people. It has been very well received nationally and internationally, and already has a lot of airplay.”
The theme, which was submitted as an application for free submission “within the deadline”, already has 266,000 views on YouTube.
The theme “Tudo ao Ar”, which is already part of the new MIMICAT album, is one of the main themes of the TVI soap opera “Quero é Viver”, associated with the main character and his empowerment, and already has more than 176 thousand views on YouTube.
