Mimicat launches new single “Dança Comigo” and announces concert

at Teatro Maria Matos

After “Vais Ter Saudades” and “Peito”, Mimicat now releases the new single “Dança Comigo” and announces a presentation concert for the album to be released at the end of this year. “Dança Comigo” is the fourth revelation from the new album that will be presented at Teatro Maria Matos on October 1st.

‘’Dança Comigo’ talks about the nostalgia of silence. About will and connection. The search for that connection even when it seems like it doesn’t exist” tells us Mimicat. “It’s a melody that could fit into a melancholic song with an old soul with the best of perfect Latin and warm rhythms”, concludes the Artist.

From winning the Festival da Canção to her memorable participation in the Eurovision 2023 Festival with “Ai Coração”, Mimicat was recognized in November last year as MTV Push Artist of the Month and recently participated in an awareness campaign against bullying in partnership with the brand Giotto with the song “Aqui Pintamos Todos”.

This year, she released her third album of originals, which follows Back in Town (2017). The new album includes “Tudo ao Ar”, “Mundo ao Contrario” (feat. Filipe Gonçalves)”, the aforementioned “Ai Coração”, “Vais Ter Saudades”, “Peito” and, now, “Dança Comigo ”.

In constant self-improvement in Portuguese music, Mimicat promises great strides this year in one of the most exciting and inspiring journeys in national pop.

Tickets for the event at Teatro Maria Matos will be available for purchase from May 31st on Ticketline and at the usual locations.
