Miss Quebramar Cup takes the best national women’s surf to Costa Nova
Exclusively female event counting for the national title takes place this Thursday and Friday in Ílhavo
The countdown to the Miss Quebramar Cup has already started a special stage exclusively for women that will take place on the 3rd and 4th of August in Ílhavo, Costa Nova.
The best national surfers are back in a place that has provided good waves throughout its history in an event that counts for the discussion of the women’s national title.
The 19th edition of the Miss Quebramar Cup will bring together some of the most experienced Portuguese athletes together with others who are part of the new national generation, anticipating exciting duels.

The main competition starts on Thursday with the first qualifiers. On Friday, the third and last day of the event, is reserved for the decisive phases of the competition, with the quarter-finals, semi-finals, and final.
Over the three days of the national women’s surf festival, the organization promotes surf experiences for users of Private Institutions of Social Solidarity in the municipality of Ílhavo and for all those who are on the beach and want to experience the sensations of sliding on the waves. In addition, there will be environmental awareness actions and distribution of merchandising.

The Miss Quebramar Cup is a special event that scores for the women’s national ranking and takes place on the sidelines of the MEO Surf League, the main surfing competition in Portugal. It is an organization of the Surfing Association of Aveiro, with the technical support of the Portuguese Surfing Federation and the National Association of Surfers.
