The 12th edition of Misty Fest, one of the most international editions ever, takes place between November 3rd and 30th.
[dropcap]T[/dropcap]his year the poster includes the special NOPO Orchestra, the confluence of Norwegian and Portuguese traditions, the internationally acclaimed project Lina_Raül Refree, the Spanish electronics veteran Suso Sáiz, the reference name of the new British jazz Matthew Halsall, the contemporary Belgian master Wim Mertens, Cape Verde legend Nancy Vieira, Israeli jazz ambassador Avishai Cohen, legendary Penguin Café, Spanish revelation Travis Birds and Dutch composer and pianist Joep Beving.
The 12th edition starts on November 3rd, at the Espinho Auditorium, with the NOPO Orchestra, which is still performing on November 4th, at the Museu do Oriente, in Lisbon, on November 5th in Coimbra, in a room to be announced , and, on November 8, at the Luísa Todi Municipal Forum, in Setúbal.
Suso Sáiz’s performances are scheduled for November 5th, at Espinho Auditorium, and November 6th, at Museu do Oriente.
Matthew Halsall will perform on November 10th in Coimbra, in a room to be announced, on November 11th, at the Museu do Oriente, and, on November 14th, at the Espinho Auditorium.
Wim Mertens’ concerts are scheduled for November 13th, in Coimbra, in a room to be announced, and November 14th at the Altice Forum Braga.
Nancy Vieira has two sessions scheduled for November 14 at the Museu do Oriente.
The Avishai Cohen Trio passes by Teatro Virginia, in Torres Novas, on November 14th, and by Centro Cultural de Belém, in Lisbon, on the following day.
Josep Beving has concerts scheduled in Coimbra, on November 18, in a room to be announced, in Espinho, on November 20, at Espinho Auditorium, and, in Lisbon, on November 21, at Museu do Oriente.
Lina and Raül Refree perform on November 22, at Teatro Maria Matos, in Lisbon, and Travis Birds, on November 26, at Museu do Oriente, on November 27, in Coimbra, in a room to be announced, and in November 28, at Espinho Auditorium.
Misty Fest ends with a concert at the Penguin Cafe, on November 30th, in Coimbra, in a room to be announced.
