MMD presented the new 24-inch Philips 242B1V LCD monitor whose main characteristics are to help users improve productivity, but at the same time protect any sensitive data or content from those around them in the company or places where they work in a coworking environment.
The model features a maximum resolution of 1080p, Full HD, promising vivid and natural images thanks to its SmartImage system and IPS technology.
Through the “privacy mode” that you can activate, the screen is hidden from people around you, without the need to use screen savers. With a button, the screen is dark and with reduced viewing on both sides, while in the center, right in front of the user, the image remains clear.
Easy Read mode is intended to simulate the paper-like reading experience. SmartErgoBase is a support that allows you to adjust the height, rotate the screen and fully tilt it to the user’s taste.
To reduce harmful blue light to the eyes, its configuration includes LowBlue mode, along with FlickerFree technology that reduces image flicker, thus ensuring greater wearing comfort.
The manufacturer also highlights the LightSensor and PowerSensor, technologies that aim to reduce energy consumption, detecting the presence of the user, adjusting the brightness of the monitor image automatically.
The system even promises to promote longer equipment life, as well as reducing energy costs by up to 70%, he says.
