It was last Saturday that the Capitol hosted another Dance Festival “Momentus” organized by the Ginásio Clube Português.
This festival was also broadcast for the first time in streaming so that all those who could not be physically present could be, in the comfort of the sofa, enjoying the show, where they could also interact live via chat.
A show was presented by the professors Andreia Alves and António Sales, who presented some “steps” of dance, and good “Momentus” of entertainment.
Several dance schools presented themselves, and their students had the opportunity to show their performative quality.
From the smallest to the oldest, from Ballet to Maintenance Gymnastics, passing through Hip-Hop, Classical Dance, Contemporary Dance and Jazz. There was no lack of Sevillanas, Tap dance or Ballroom dances, and a female group directly from Porto marvelled the audience with the various rhythms of Indian dance.
A show with colour and shine, with attitude and a lot of grit, with some young talents looking for a bright future in dance.
The Ginásio Clube Português is a centenary club that was a pioneer in offering society various sports, social and cultural activities, aimed at all ages, from babies to seniors.
