MOMO released the new single “Till the End of Summer Time”

Coinciding with the arrival of cold weather in Brazil, “Till the End of Summer Time” is a love story marked by the change of seasons.

[dropcap]T[/dropcap]he new MOMO song ends up describing the disillusionment and isolation that we have felt in recent months. The video clip highlights the feeling of separation and was filmed remotely while the Brazilian musician and Italian director Chiara Missaggia were isolated in their homes, during the quarantine imposed by COVID-19.

In the words of MOMO., The theme is musically inspired by the jazz classics of names like George Gershwin and Irving Berlin, and by bossa nova composers like Tom Jobim. “The lyrics speak of a love that didn’t work, from the first date to the last goodbye” – explains the musician who lives in Lisbon. The title refers to the 1945 pop song “Till the End of Time”, recorded by Perry Como , Doris Day and other artists and who inspired a film with the same title.

“Till the End of Summer Time” is the second unreleased single revealed after the release of MOMO’s sixth album. that was edited at the end of last year. In addition to this song, the new EP under preparation will include “Rosto Zen” (released on April 17th, 2020).

The next original work includes collaborations by independent artists such as Alex Siegel (Amo Amo) and Helio Flanders (Vanguart). “Till the End of Summer Time” was recorded by MOMO. at home and mixed in Los Angeles by producer Tom Biller (Karen O, Elliott Smith, Kate Nash), who has become a regular partner since his previous work “I Was Told To Be Quiet”.
