On a night of excellent spells, Moonspell and the Lisbon Sinfonietta Orchestra were fantastic on stage, in the company of an almost full room of fans who made the night at Meo Arena even more wonderful.
Moonspell spent the year taking their songs all over the world, after celebrating 30 years of career, so this concert in the largest hall in Portugal, produced by Crumbs Events, alongside the Lisbon Sinfonietta Orchestra, is the culmination of a magnificent year.

In the company of the Orchestra, under the direction of Maestro Vasco Pearce de Azevedo and arrangements by pianist Filipe Melo, this was a night of unity between Heavy Metal and classical music, resulting in a memorable concert.
Iconic themes from the band passed through the Lisbon hall, “Em nome do Medo,” “1755,” “In Tremor Dei,” “Disaster,” “Ruínas,” “Breathe,” “Proliferation,” “Finisterra,” “Everything Invaded,” “Scorpion Flower,” “Vampiria,” “Alma Mater,” and to conclude “Fullmoon Madness.”

Moonspell, the Portuguese gothic metal band formed in 1992 in Amadora, with a dense sound, poetic lyrics, and intense performances, has become one of the most important gothic metal bands in the world.
Since their debut album, Wolfheart (1995), Moonspell continues to captivate audiences with their melancholic melodies, heavy guitars, and the distinctive voice of Fernando Ribeiro, gaining fans with each concert.

Throughout their career, they have demonstrated great musical versatility, experimenting with different styles and sounds while maintaining their roots, incorporating elements of doom metal, folk metal, and even symphonic elements.
“Full Moon Madness,” “The Phantom Pain,” and “Her Cold Kiss” are some of their most iconic tracks, with their album Extinct, which explores themes such as extinction and the fragility of life, being one of their most acclaimed.

Moonspell continues to create high-quality music, performing on some of the most important stages and festivals in the world, like this Saturday at Meo Arena. With an extensive discography and a legion of loyal fans, the band promises to remain a presence in the global metal scene for many years to come.
