The mobile Patrulheiros application has registered more than 600 incidents of environmental attacks in the three months of life, said the association responsible for the environmental platform.
The Patrulheiros association of Águeda intends with this application for smartphones and mobile devices to detect attacks on the environment in all parts of the country and send these occurrences to the responsible entities of each region.
According to the association, the Port following Lisbon and Setúbal are the districts with more registered occurrences.
60% related to rubble, 20% with forest waste and 15% with the abandonment of domestic animals, a nest of Asian wasps and poor condition of the roads.
Only is 5% relate to pollution in lagoons, rivers and streams.
The Patrol application already has more than two thousand users growing an average of 100 new users/day.
There are also 280 of the 308 Portuguese municipalities.
