Mother Mother is the latest confirmation for the Heineken Stage of the second day of NOS Alive’25. The Canadian group performs at the Algés Promenade on July 11th.
Composed by Ryan Guldemond (vocals, guitar), Molly Guldemond (vocals, keyboards), Jasmin Parkin (vocals, keyboards), Ali Siadat (drums) and Mike Young (bass), Mother Mother has seen truly remarkable growth in the last three years. The year 2022 catapulted the band to a new level of universal success, boosted by releasing their eighth studio album, Inside.
The platinum-certified single, “Hayloft II,” has garnered audiences worldwide. In the new and impactful album Grief Chapter – the band’s ninth -, the Canadian group raises its creative and musical boundaries even more. This collection of songs dares to take risks, with an ambitious approach to composition and the most subtle details, exploring deep themes such as life, death, mourning and the freedom of accepting the inevitable.
Soundly, the twelve tracks of Grief Chapter are among the most robust and impactful in the career of Mother Mother, reinforced by a legion of new fans and the biggest stages and spaces that have accompanied the recent and continuous success of the band. ” Our instinct was to create something powerful and impactful,” says Ryan Guldemond, lead vocalist and lyricist of Mother Mother. “We don’t take this moment for granted – nor this life. A life in music, doing what we love with those we love.”
