Prime Video premieres Mr. & Mrs. Smith this Friday, February 2nd. The eight episodes will premiere on the same day exclusively on Prime Video in more than 240 countries and territories around the world.
In this version of Mr. & Mrs. Smith, two lonely strangers find work at a mysterious spy agency that offers a glorious life of espionage, wealth, world travel and a luxury home in Manhattan. What is the problem? They have new identities, now married as Mr John Smith and Mrs Jane Smith. John and Jane undergo a high-risk mission every week while facing problems in their relationship. This complicated lie becomes even more complex when they start to have feelings for each other. What is more risky: espionage or marriage?
The series, from creators and executive producers Donald Glover (Swarm, Atlanta) and Francesca Sloane (Atlanta, Fargo), is a remake of the 2005 film, now starring Glover as John Smith and Maya Erskine (PEN15) as Jane Smith.
