On November 25, Carolina Deslandes made known “Mulher”, an EP and a short film, made in partnership with Filipe Correia dos Santos. In this long-lasting music and performance video, which has just surpassed the goal of 200 thousand views, we can listen to the songs and watch the written fiction, narrated and starred by the artist.
“Mulher” represents several generations of women who are victims of domestic violence. This launch was supported by MEO, which joined the project in order to raise awareness among the Portuguese people about this form of abuse.
At the time of launch, “Mulher” was more than 1 week in the top 15 trends of YouTube, in Portugal. The EP also debuted at # 1 on iTunes and Carolina Deslandes was the cover of the main playlists of streaming services – Pop PT from Spotify, Palco Pop from Tidal and Play Portugal from Apple Music. The single “Não Me Importo” had direct entry to the top 100 of Spotify in Portugal.
“Mulher” succeeds the EP “Mercúrio”, released this summer in partnership with Jimmy P, and the album “CASA”, published in April 2018, which reached the Platinum mark and placed Carolina Deslandes among the most successful artists in Portugal.
