The MUMI organization has just announced, at the press conference that took place this morning at the Pousada de Valença do Minho, the 12 musical proposals that will be presented at the Músicas do Minho professional meeting, between the 12th and 15th of September.
Surma, Rogério Cardoso, Miss Universe, Jhon Douglas and Cardo-Roxo are the Portuguese projects highlighted.
The 2024 edition will once again take place in emblematic locations of the Tui-Valença Eurocity, transforming and shaping the landscape of both municipalities to promote cultural exchange between the two countries. The fair increasingly aims to connect with the public, creating synergistic and free spaces in the squares and streets of Valença and Tui, where musical representations from Portugal and Galicia can be enjoyed.
To complete the lineup, we also find the Galician projects Alana, Amoebo, Os D’Açado, Quico Comesanã, Ruxe Ruxe, Su Garrido Pombo and the Catalan projects El Pony Pisador, the result of collaboration with the Fira Mediterrània de Manresa and the support of the Junta da Galicia. A set of very high-quality proposals, where traditional music, folk, rock, electronic, urban music, original songs and contemporary avant-garde music will be represented, which reflect the great creative moment that is taking place in both territories.

Professionals linked to the Portuguese and Galician music industry can register for this event until September 8th. Participation will be completely free.
MUMI intends to continue to unify the region’s shores and consolidate the rich and important musical universe of both, in a fair that has already become a reference in Portugal and Galicia.
