Applications are now open for the Municipal Emergency Fund to Support Families in Situations of Vulnerability, created by the Municipality of Bragança and which provides for an allocation of 100 thousand euros.
[dropcap]T[/dropcap]he measure, which is assumed to be a quick and transitory response to difficulties in accessing essential goods, is intended to support families and people in a vulnerable situation, residing in the Municipality of Bragança, who prove expenses related to the acquisition of essential goods. Therefore, expenses with non-essential goods identified in the Norms of the Emergency Municipal Fund to Support Families in Vulnerable Situations are not reimbursed.
This social support translates into one-off and extraordinary help, with the objective of enabling families to access essential goods through reimbursement, upon presentation of supporting invoices, expenses for the acquisition of goods in commercial establishments in the Municipality of Bragança.
Applications are open until March 19, by filling in the appropriate form directly on the institutional website of the Municipality of Bragança, here, or sent electronically, or delivered in physical support at the Balcão Único de Atendimento, accompanied by the listed documents.
The Municipal Emergency Fund to Support Families in Situations of Vulnerability was created by order of the Mayor on March 1, 2021.
Potential candidates are recommended to read the Rules of the Municipal Emergency Fund to Support Families in Situations of Vulnerability, as well as the “Guide for Supporting Candidates”, which summarizes the main conditions of access, and the procedures to be adopted after approval of the application.
