Évora promotes 1st Meeting “Évora Cidade Educadora”
The 1st “Évora Cidade Educadora” meeting, called “Imagina que Transformas”, previously scheduled for November 30, 2020 (International Day of the Educating City), and postponed following the measures decreed by the Government, referring to the State of Emergency, take place on the 12th, 13th and 14th of April, starting at 2:30 pm. It will have a videoconference format and interested parties can register here.

The Mayor of the Municipality, Carlos Pinto de Sá, participates in the opening session, and the closing of the work is done by the Councilor for Education, Sara Dimas Fernandes.
The panels, one each day, will be subordinated to the following themes: “New responses in education, culture and tourism in times of pandemic”; “The social network: challenges and complexity”; and “Acting for the Environment. Build a Sustainable County!”.
The conference “The construction of the city”, by the pedagogue and Professor Américo Peças and the presentation of the book “The City of Children”, by Francesco Tonucci (who participates in this event) are some of the key moments scheduled for the meeting, which counts still with the exhibition “1º Évora, Cidade Educadora“, which takes place from April 6th to 15th, at Praça de Sertório.
