Museums reopen in early April before cinemas and theaters

The Government’s Decommissioning Plan, announced at a press conference at the Palácio da Ajuda, in Lisbon, starts on March 15th and runs until May 3rd.

The announcement of new support measures on Friday was also advanced by the prime minister.

As far as the Culture sector is concerned, on April 5, museums, monuments, palaces, art galleries and the like can reopen and, on April 19, theaters, theaters and cinemas, succeeding in the possible reopenings from the next Monday.

Also from April 19, events abroad can be resumed, subject to approval by the Directorate-General for Health.

On May 3, large outdoor and indoor events may be held again, subject to the capacity defined by the DGS, which may include festivals.
