The European Museum Organization Network (NEMO) created an interactive map with information on the reopening of museums across Europe, after they were forced to close due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
Of the 30 countries that make up the network, most have a reopened date, but all have new restrictions and rules, since Europe is not yet free of the coronavirus.
Most European museums will reopen in the first weeks of May. In Portugal, the reopening of museums, monuments, palaces, art galleries and similar places is scheduled for May 18th. Cinemas, theaters, auditoriums and concert halls should only open on June 1st.
