The Directorate-General for Cultural Heritage announced that museums, monuments and palaces are free on Sundays and holidays for citizens residing in the national territory.
The measure stems from the approval of the State Budget Law for 2021.
Thus, free admission to museums, palaces and monuments on Sundays is extended to the whole day (until now it was only in the morning) and also to national holidays.
This decision is only valid for museums and national monuments that are under the supervision of the central administration.
