The program includes the launch of the digital version of the publication Cadernos do Rivoli, considered an important document for the history of the performing arts and an identity mark of this theater.
The TMP website will host some content contained in the publication, including other complementary contributions.
In music, two concerts will be made available as part of TMP’s Understage cycle, co-produced with Matéria Prima: COBRA’CORAL, vocal collective formed by Catarina Miranda, Clélia Colonna and Ece Canli; and Adufes & Pandeiros – Concert for traditional and electronic percussions, by Jorge Queijo and Francisco Antão.
In relation to shows, ‘IO – Landscapes, Machines and Animals’, by choreographer Né Barros, will be shown excerpts from ‘Noite de Primavera’, from Teatro Nova Europa, and the second play of ‘Tetralogia das Estações’, playwright and director Luís Mestre.
The program also includes the project Poetry is passing through here, which proposes a literary (and virtual) trip with six ‘diseurs’ in six unusual spaces of Rivoli, which can start in Sophia de Mello Breyner and end in Cesariny, passing through baffling Adília Lopes.
‘The Residual Pieces’, 11 performances by artist-archivist Solveig Phyllis Rocher, from 11 months of programming presented in 2020 by TMP, and the online replacement of ‘Ø ilha’, a film that resulted from the meeting between director Cláudia Varejão and choreographer Joana Castro as part of the PAR(S) – Performative Arts and Image Online project, launched by TMP in December 2020, are also included in the program.
