Musica no Coração decides not to change the Summer Festivals’ dates

The Música no Coração organization maintains the dates of this year’s festivals with the hope that, at the time of the events, the covid-19 outbreak has passed

In a press release, the event producer Musica no Coração, founded 28 years ago, reflected on its history and referred that “Music, like Life, is made to be shared“.

Due to the New Coronavirus, festivals and events have been canceled in Portugal, and we are encouraged to stay at home and keep physically apart. The Producer is working with the competent authorities in all areas, with the first priority to guarantee the safety of the public, the artists, all the teams and the families of all those involved in the Festivals.

It is with this sense of responsibility, but it is also the responsibility for an entire industry that is going through a critical moment, and for all our partners, who follow the situation seriously and attentively, without giving up.

Musica no Coração reports that its summer festivals are still a few months away and believes that, during this time, with the continued collaboration and sense of responsibility of all, we will be able to overcome these difficult moments.

“We are working, responsibly at home, so that our Festivals take place this year on the scheduled dates, and we appeal to the understanding of those who have expressed their concern and also solidarity” says the organization.

The Agency also reflects that the important thing at the moment is to take care “of us and others, keeping us firm in complying with all the recommendations of the competent authorities and showing all our respect for the work of health professionals and all those who have maintained our day-to-day possible ”

The Summer Festivals of Musica no Coração will take place in the usual places on the scheduled dates.
