The Yellow Star Company presents, on March 17th, at 3:30 pm, Beauty and the Beast in the Salão Preto e Prata at Casino Estoril. A show not to be missed, directed by Paulo Sousa Costa and Luís Pacheco.
A Prince, who lived in a palace surrounded by red roses, more precious than gold, was known to be evil, lazy and vain. The Prince lived indifferent to the beauty and purity of these roses. He was only concerned with his beauty and sold tons of roses to neighbouring kingdoms, who were not lucky enough to see such special wealth growing on their lands.
One day, Chlóris, the fairy protector of roses, fearing the end of this flower, cast a curse on the Prince transforming him into a monster and all the roses in the Kingdom turned black so that he could no longer sell them, given their colour of sadness.
To undo this spell, the Prince would have to find someone who would fall in love with him and only then would all the roses in the Kingdom be red again. But who will ever fall in love with a monster…?!
