Naide Gomes and Abreu Matos star in the first video of the Sou Olímpico project. The former Olympic athlete and her coach returned to Jamor to remember the former triple jump athlete’s career, marked by the Olympic value of Excellence.
For Naide Gomes: “It is always a special feeling to be the protagonists of these moments and remember the moments lived over so many years. The Olympic value of Excellence was part of my career and also the way I evolved in training with Professor Abreu Matos. Arriving at the Olympic Games is something unique for an athlete, as he is representing his country’s flag in a competition for which we work so hard on a daily basis”.
The Sou Olímpico project was developed by the Olympic Committee of Portugal (COP) in partnership with Bridgestone. It is a webseries about three stories related to the three Olympic values: Excellence, Respect and Friendship.
