The four finalists who will represent Portugal in the International Computer Olympics are getting closer to being known.
After the national final that took place last week, the eight best students of the competition promoted and organized by the Association for the Promotion and Development of the Information Society are selected.
The eight students from Lisbon, Vila Nova de Gaia, Faro, Castro Verde, Braga and Ponte de Lima will undertake a preparation internship. Then a new challenge will be held: the selection test, which will also take place online and not in person.
From the set of both tests, the national final and the selection test, the four students who will represent Portugal at the 2020 International Computer Olympics, which are being organized by Singapore, will be known.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the event will not take place in July, as originally planned, and there is still no official date. On the table is the bet in an online format.
