The National Railway Museum, in Entroncamento, marks its sixth anniversary next week, with free admission and the opening of new spaces.
Among the new areas to open on May 18, the date on which International Museum Day is also marked, are the Compressor Room, the Simulators Room, and the Museum’s new store.
The following day, May 19, a webinar will be held from 10 am on the ‘Future of Museums: recover and reimagine’, which will focus on the relationship between museums and the public in times of pandemic.
In a statement, the National Railway Museum informs that anyone can participate, just needing to register through the email firstname.lastname@example.org.
