The practice of surfing on the beaches of Nazaré, in the district of Leiria, will once again be allowed, individually, announced today the City Council, through an order signed by the president, Walter Chicharro.
The municipality emphasizes that this decision follows the renewal of the state of emergency, announced on February 25, and after having applied a series of measures in different areas of intervention, following all the decisions of the Council of Ministers and ensuring that the measures are applied and enforced at the local level.
On February 19, the Municipality of Oeiras, in the district of Lisbon, announced the same measure, stressing, however, that access to the promenade and beaches will remain prohibited for the remaining activities.
