New App from CIN simulates the painting of your wall and helps you decide the perfect color
CIN, a Portuguese brand and Iberian leader in the paint and varnish market, has launched a new free mobile application that allows you to test color through the virtual painting of your walls. The simulator uses the photographs taken by the mobile phone, preserves the light conditions and original environments and offers a preview of what the final result will be.
This great novelty from CIN makes use of a set of complex algorithms that guarantee an intelligent detection of the surface and the area to be painted. Using an extremely simple and intuitive navigation system, the application produces a realistic painting simulation that allows you to see the final result even before painting, thus facilitating the always complex process of choosing the ideal color.
The results of these simulations, as well as the color choices, can be saved in the users’ MyCIN profile, transversally present in all digital tools that the brand makes available to the public, using its Single-Sign-On system. In this way, the favorite colors saved in the application can be viewed in the MyCIN account at deco.cin.com and subsequently purchased online.
According to Marcos Castro, CIN Marketing Director, CIN COLORiT 2 allows “greater proximity to our customers and response to their needs, which is not always achieved by samples in store. Now we can replicate a color in their own homes and give them a reality, even if virtual, but that really supports them in decision making. ” This application thus joins “existing projects in the CIN digital ecosystem with a specific functional offer of greater relevance to consumers.” Over the past year, CIN has invested in various services and digital content “which aim to guarantee the proximity of the brand to the processes of choice and decision of our customers, reinforcing the image as a specialist brand in the sector”.
The new application also features an improved version of some features, existing in CIN COLORiT, such as the identification of color references from photographs, access to the brand’s color catalogs or reference to the nearest CIN store chain, such as the best route to get there.
