New book by Elena Favilli dedicated to immigrant women

Editing in Portugal using the Ink Cloud, the book briefly and always accompanied by an illustrated portrait, the biography of figures such as the philosopher Hannah Arendt, the judoka Keiko Fukuda, the conductor Frieda Belinfante and the Portuguese singer Carmen Miranda, who settled in Brazil.

Among the illustrators who collaborate in this third volume is Ana Melo, who signs Amalthea.

The first volume of ‘Stories to fall asleep for rebellious girls’ was released in 2016 by Italian authors Elena Favilli and Francesca Cavallo, gathering a hundred biographies of women who have been constantly underestimated, forgotten and, in some cases, almost erased from history.

The structure of this informative book was replicated in several other titles in the following years, by other authors, such as ‘Stories for boys who dare to be different’, by Ben Brooks, and ‘Stories of animals that changed the world’, by GL Marvel .
