New São Brás de Alportel Bus Terminal advances in European Mobility Week

The Municipality of São Brás de Alportel takes another important step in the area of ​​mobility with the signing of the contract for the construction of the new “Circular” Bus Terminal. The signing of the contract took place yesterday, September 26, at the end of the European Mobility Week, by the Mayor of São
Brás de Alportel, Victor Warrior.

This infrastructure, which is extremely important in the area of ​​municipal mobility and its regional connections, will be built next to the Circular Norte, near the Centenary Rotunda.

The contract includes the construction of a 3-lane bus terminal, total parking for 7 buses and parking for 27 light vehicles; a support building with waiting room, ticket office and bathrooms and traffic lanes, exterior arrangements and street lighting.

Awarded to the Consortium of companies composed by José de Sousa Barra & Filhos, Lda. And Rolear On-Engineering Solutions S.A., for 494,163.45 euros, VAT included, the work has a deadline of 365 of its.

The project will be co-financed by community funds under the PAMUS program – Plan for Action and Sustainable Urban Mobility.

The beginning of the works will be marked after obtaining the visa of the Court of Auditors.

This work is an important advance in the implementation of the Municipal Mobility Plan of the municipality of São Brás de Alportel, which has been developed in the municipality and will allow users to improve their quality and comfort in order to help promote the use of public transport.
