This new single precedes the Nôs Morna theme, published in 2018, with the participation of the musician Tito Paris and, which had a specific reason at the time, as explained by Cremilda Medina “Nôs Morna was edited at the time Morna was a candidate for Cultural Heritage Immaterial of Humanity and at that time I thought it would be important to edit a single where I could make the connection between someone already with a established career in traditional Cape Verde music and a young woman like me who wants to make a career in this musical style. In times of pandemic, singer Cremilda Medina was prevented from being in Cape Verde for almost all this time (she had been to Portugal for a concert in Santo Tirso).
