Yesterday, the Super Bock Arena welcomed one of the icons of Brazilian music and celebrated the musician, his songs and Brazilian music.

Yesterday, May 29, it was the Super Bock Arena’s turn to welcome him and with him songs that are part of our imagination, he received “Bloco na Rua”, a musical selection chosen during the previous tour. “It’s not a show of my hits, but I wanted to open up more to my repertoire. This time I mixed things I’ve already recorded with other people’s repertoire”, says Ney Matogrosso.

The chosen songbook reveals the diversity of his music and what he wants to present live. “Eu quero é botar meu bloco na rua” (I want to put my block on the street), which gave rise to the name of the tour, “A Maçã” (The Apple), “Álcool (Bolero Filosófico)” (The Alley) and “Mulher Barriguda” (The Big Belly) were some of the songs chosen for fans to listen to.

The costumes were created by Lino Villaventura, while Luiz Stein designed the scenery, which was made up of projections, and Juarez Farinon provided the lighting for the show, supervised by Ney Matogrosso himself.

Ney was accompanied on stage by virtuoso musicians, such as Sacha Amback (musical direction and keyboard), Marcos Suzano and Felipe Roseno (percussion), Dunga (bass), Mauricio Almeida (guitar), Aquiles Moraes (trumpet) and Everson Moraes (trombone).

A show that had the signature Everything is New.
