Under the banner “Tribeca Night Stories,” the partnership between the Tribeca Festival Lisbon and the Night Stories market will transform the festival grounds, the Unicorn Factory Lisbon, into a cultural epicentre with DJ sets and emerging bands, crafts, and plenty of gastronomy, from October 30th to November 1st.
The Tribeca Festival Lisbon once again celebrates creativity in its most varied forms, and this year, the celebration of culture extends day and night through a partnership with Night Stories, which will offer
free live shows, DJ sets, vinyl sessions, crafts, and a series of gastronomic concepts for all tastes, from 12 PM to midnight throughout the three days of the festival, creating an environment where the energy of Lisbon intersects with the young, disruptive, and distinctive spirit of the Tribeca Festival.
Highlights include shows by La Tremenda Sonora, a salsa band with eleven musicians on stage, and Manila, who promises a performance full of groove and charisma. The nights continue with acts like Eternal Love, Boddhi Satva, Uma Africana, DJ Nick Bade, and the duo MXGPU—the latest project bringing together DJs Moulinex and GPU Panic—who will close the festival with a special set prepared for the Lisbon audience.
More than just an extension of the festival’s programming, this collaboration represents the meeting of two platforms that share the same vision: celebrating creativity, authenticity, and the power of bringing people together through culture.
For this reason, Tribeca Night Stories will also feature a meticulously curated market, along with Shop Amazonas, featuring numerous Portuguese brands. It will be available from 3 pm to 11 pm on Friday, October 31st, and from 12 pm to 11 pm on Saturday, November 1st. Furthermore, the Unicorn Factory Lisboa venue will also host, from 7 pm to midnight on Friday, October 31st, the Pieces Chess Club, a chess club open to players of all levels and even those curious about the game.
But because the party is also about good food, Tribeca Night Stories will also feature a countless variety of street food from a dozen brands such as Secret Oven Pizzas, Street Burger, Kau, and Empanadas do Maxi.
Night Stories is much more than an event—it is a cultural phenomenon that, since 2021, has transformed Lisbon into a vibrant urban playground, where music, gastronomy, art, and emerging brands intersect in a celebration of what is new, creative, and authentic.
Created to showcase the city’s leading figures, it has become Lisbon’s best-known night market and one of the most anticipated events on the cultural calendar. Each edition is a living, breathing platform that hosts visionary chefs, disruptive artists, rising musicians, and bold brands, creating an ecosystem where projects meet, ideas are tested, and communities are formed.
With this partnership, the Tribeca Festival Lisbon reinforces its mission of being more than a film festival: a meeting place for artists, creators, and audiences, where stories continue to be told even after the final credits roll.
For Mónica Serrano, Marketing and Communications Director at Grupo Impresa, organiser of the Tribeca Festival Lisbon, the partnership with Night Stories represents the most natural way to extend the spirit of Tribeca to the city of Lisbon. “We want the festival to be experienced inside and outside the theatres, for people to feel Lisbon as part of this celebration of creativity. Night Stories brings this free, plural, and authentic energy that also defines the Tribeca Festival Lisbon, and that is what makes it so special,” she explains.
Maria Oliveira, co-founder of Ode Studio, the organiser of Night Stories, describes the synergy with the Tribeca Festival Lisbon as a way to amplify Lisbon’s energy.
“This partnership with the Tribeca Festival Lisbon is Night Stories’ first official collaboration and came about very organically. We felt a strong connection in the way both platforms celebrate creativity and create space for what is new, authentic, and constantly evolving. It was the ideal opportunity to take Night Stories to another context, without losing our identity, and create something that collectively amplifies Lisbon’s cultural energy,” she says.
